Can you create a Christmas TV advert as inspired as John Lewis' Monty the Penguin or Sainsbury's touching WWI truce? You have just £10k, a tight deadline and a limited props department. No pressure, then! Will your teams do a better job than the big brands? All will be revealed when they go head to head in the big battle of the Christmas ads. The lights are on and the cameras rolling. Let's make festive magic!
On arrival, the group will be split into teams and briefed by our director on the TV 'set'. Each team selects an envelope containing details of the Christmas commercial they'll create.
The first job is to allocate roles. Will there be bickering about who gets to sit in the director's chair? Who will be producer? Which team members are best suited to starring roles and who's better behind the scenes? Sometimes the biggest dramas happen in the green room!
In addition to creative genius, teams will need tight planning and sharp negotiation skills. Scripts need be penned and props purchased.
When the whistle blows, it's cameras down and lights off for the viewing session. The judges award points for creativity, originality, budgeting and time management. They're sticklers for lateness and over spending, so watch your budget and make sure props are returned on time.
There are gongs up for grabs at the awards ceremony, so get that acceptance speech ready!
