Client Global Pay approached Off Limits Event Professionals to plan a bespoke team building event that was engaging, fun and ticked all the right boxes.
Client Global Pay are a world leader in financial technology solutions and worldwide provider of payment technology services, delivering innovative solutions and driven by customer needs globally. Their technologies, partnerships and employee expertise enables them to provide a broad range of products and services that allows customers to accept all payments across a variety of distribution channels around the world. The client wanted a team building event that blended with their company's innovative aspirations and services.
The brief
The client had taken part in Crystal Amazed previously and wanted to book an engaging, thought provoking event suitable for 180 delegates. The client wanted an inspiring, engaging team building event designed to challenge, teach core skills and generate positive vibes amongst employees.
The big event
The client loved the idea of the fun and fascinating CSI Investigate team building event for their employees. The two hour event involved teams racing against the clock to get to the truth behind a heinous crime by eliminating any wrongly accused suspects and applying a series of investigation skills. The two-hour event took place at the spacious, contemporary venue the Leicester Marriot in Enderby. The whole event was a complete surprise for delegates and the day kicked off with an on-stage police arrest, the Off Limits Events team dressed up as police officers and even arrested one of the company directors. A variety of the employees were also used as suspects and we incorporated their mug shots to the police boards for the event. The activities included blood splatter analysis, fingerprinting, phone interrogation, CCTV analysis, witness statements and television appeals. The event was more than just a team building activity for the client, it enhanced communication, boosted morale and encouraged employees to build deeper bonds with colleagues outside the office walls.
