After a welcome and a briefing from the instructor, the group will be introduced to the course.
The aim is simple - to drive a rugged 4x4 safely round a course that features man-made and natural obstacles. Those who achieve a clear round and don't incur penalties will earn maximum points for their team.
There are some twists and conditions to keep teams on their toes!
An instructor will accompany drivers and mark them on driving style and their ability to keep the 4x4 moving constantly. Penalty points will be incurred if drivers stop, get stuck or hit the strategically placed markers.
Putting the pedal to the metal won't work. This is precision driving and takes concentration, careful consideration, driving skill and strategic thinking.
Off-road driving is all about taking external factors into consideration. Will the drivers realise that working in harmony with their surroundings results in success?
Only one person can take the wheel, but each individual will be earning valuable points that contribute to their team's total score. Will they display good teamwork values and help each other out with hints and tips or will it be every driver for themselves?
